I am constantly amazed by how a room can be transformed without the use of construction. Lighting is one of my favorite ways to do that (!) and these lamps don't disappoint. I love the high gloss finish, the brass trim on the top and bottom of the linen shade, and the brass finial at the top. Plus, they are classics that I know I could move to any other room in our home, no problem.
Lulu and Georgia is a company I use constantly for my clients and I'm happy to have my very own piece of design eye-candy from their shop in this pair of lamps. We have an overhead light that I use during the day, but at night when I'm sitting in bed working on my computer, or mapping out the following day in my journal, softer light from a bedside lamp is the way to go. Who's with me?!
Design is always a process. No sense in rushing. Your home should evolve and grow with you.
Let's take a very quick trip down memory lane. :-)
Bring on the new lamps, appropriate sized nightstands, gallery wall, loads of fabric, and you have a happy designer!
These lamps were a gift from Lulu and Georgia, but let's be honest, you know these would be in my shopping cart either way. What do you think of the new look? The Lydia Lamps are offered in twelve other colors. Which color would you choose? Come back tomorrow and you may have a chance to pick your very own. xx
Whether you're near or far, I would love to work with you to create a home you love. Email me at email@example.com for more information on my local & e-design services.
