vaca recap

We are about to jump on the plane to come home, and I thought I'd share what I've been up to and why I haven't been posting these last few days.  SPRING BREAK!  Woo hoo!  After one of the worst winters on record, my family and I got the heck out of town and headed to my mother's in Miami.  They live across the street from the ocean, and on the intracoastal waterway.  Not bad...I have to say. ;-)

There was plenty of cuteness with my boys, and of course sibling shenanigans, but who could resist these two?  Certainly not me.  That hat...those muscles...I hope they never grow up.

My mom and her husband we incredibly hospitable, including hauling tons of chairs and umbrellas to the beach so we could spend a few afternoons at the ocean.  That's me in the old lady hat.  Don't laugh. ;-)

My son was sure his shark shirt would scare away any unwanted marine life.

This is probably my absolute favorite shot from the trip...

This photo is a close second.  I can't believe the color in God's creation.

And because the Waterlogue app is awesome, I just had to share this.
Thanks mom and M. for hosting us!

Back to regular programming tomorrow.  And that means another One Room Challenge update!  EEK!  I'm even dreaming about the One Room Challenge.  Dear Lord. I'm looking forward to sharing the progress!

Whether you're near or far, I would love to work with you to create a home you love.  Email me at abbyminteriors@gmail.com for more information on my local & e-design services.

  2. I'm so jealous. Miami sounds too good to be true. I could certainly use some of that vitamin D.
    Love the watercolor pic.
