Wilsonart Dream Kitchen Challenge + Giveaway

There is one room in my house I never show you.  It's not ugly.  It's not horrible.  It's my kitchen.

It's perfectly fine--and totally not me.

When Wilsonart asked me to create my Dream Kitchen using their Wilsonart HD counters, I jumped at the chance to start dreaming!  I kept my (imaginary) cost down by painting my current cabinets Calypso Blue  and using the Carrara Santorini counters with the cascade edge.  Then I'd add a long white lacquered island that mimics the look of a bamboo dresser.  Finally I'd add amazing lighting over the sink and island to really make it fabulous.  I spend the majority of my time in the kitchen and I was it to be a stylish workhorse.

Wilsonart was kind enough to send me a large sample. These counters are incredibly durable and the customized edge makes it look very similar to stone.  I think the trick is to go with a finish that's not too busy.

My dream kitchen is rustic, glam, vintage, and beach-y.

The best part of this dream kitchen challenge is that the generous people of Wilsonart are giving one of you a
$50 gift card to William's Sonoma!

My dream kitchen would have light gray cabinets and dark wood floors. And, I would want a huge kitchen table made out of old, shiny, dark barnwood.
