It all started when I was searching for orange inspiration and stumbled upon this image. I'm crazy about the orange dresser. Through the brilliance of instagram, I discovered that this room was designed by Lee Kleinhelter, interior designer and owner of Pieces in Atlanta, GA.
Of course I then went on an image stalking mission to find more of her work. Guess what? The new June issue of Lonny Mag was released today and guess who was featured? Lee Kleinhelter. Fabulous, I know!
I love the sophisticated, bold, and modern feel of her work.
Her use of scale (how everything is proportioned) is amazing. Those lamps...they kill me.
Plus, I discovered that both of us have a son named Holden, so that makes me think we are clearly kindred spirits. Right?
I haven't used yellow in a design for a long time, but the freshness in Lee's spaces makes me think of yellow in a new way.
Color? Oversized lighting? Many textures? Check, check, check.
Dreamy nursery. Simple, but so much texture and sophistication. This is a nursery that will easily grow with baby.
How cute is she?
