client updates

Hi all!  I've had to take a small break from everything Christmas to do, well, actual work for clients. :-)  This is when it comes in handy to love my job.  There is a lot going on right now, so stick with me.

It has been a while since I posted anything on the cottage project (which isn't really a cottage, but more like her dream house) so here are some updates.  The chair above is in her home office.
I love this chair and rug combination.

This nautical map is actual wallpaper by Ralph Lauren.  It's being installed in her powder room above the chair rail and up the slanted ceiling.  It's difficult to tell by the picture, but the scale of this pattern is actually very large so the graph doesn't make you crazy.  The colors are gorgeous in person.

We framed one of my absolute favorite photographs of sea glass via Etsy.  This will go in the guest bathroom and it looks so perfect that I started jumping in her hallway.  You have to love when everything comes together.

This is her sun room and where she watches television.  The texture of the woven blinds really warm up the space and I can't get enough of that ceiling.  When we started the ceiling and trim were all knotty pine.

Sound the trumpets; we have a kitchen!  We used subway tile as the backsplash with Oyster Gray color on the grout.  Looks fantastic.  I'm especially happy with the herringbone pattern behind the stove.

This is a master bedroom I'm working on for a client in Tennessee   She hasn't seen this yet.  :-)

Do you remember this stairway makeover?  After the paint job, they still had to rip up the carpet, paint the stairs, and install this runner.  I love it.
I'm headed to their house tomorrow to bring them art for this entryway.  Hopefully I'll be able to snap a few more photos.
On Saturday I'm headed to the Lansing area to meet a new client at her lake house.  I'm sharing just a couple pictures to show you where we are starting.  I'm pretty thrilled and humbled to get as many whole house clients as I do.  Thank you!  This Lake House is going to be a blast.  It helps that my client is a fellow Spartan. Go State! :-)

I know, this is our house, but while I was moving everything around for Christmas my $9 vintage lamp found a new home.  I like it so much better here!

This is just a preview of an exciting announcement I have.  I'm hoping to share more with you tomorrow.  We'll see.  But I was inspired by a conversation with you on my facebook page to use my gifts for good this Christmas.  Stay tuned...there are ways you can help.

Thank you so much for reading.  I appreciate you all!
