what's in my fall beauty bag

I recently turned 33.  There is something about turning another year older that makes me want to refresh my makeup bag.  Does anyone else do this?  It helps that the seasons are changing and what works for me in the summer doesn't work as well in the fall.

Here are my top picks!

I was inspired by Hollywood Housewife to really take a risk, and just try wearing red lipstick.  This Bordeaux color, by Revlon, is my best version of red.  I have very fair skin and this just works.  Try it!

My mother introduced me to BB cream.  I'm crazy for it.  I use it as my everyday foundation.  I tried other brands but they didn't blend well  I really think this is worth the price.

When fall arrives I just like to go a bit darker--with everything.  These shadows give you plenty of options I have fun with the plums and greens.

I featured this mascara on an earlier post of my favorite drug store beauty picks.  I'm still a fan.  The skinny brush makes my lashes so long and gets every tiny lash.  It also works great for layering lots of coats for night time.

If you buy one thing from this list I'd recommend this nail polish: Chinchilly.  It's the perfect color grey because it has enough of a purple undertone to keep your nails from looking dreary.  Every time I wear it I get compliments.

Have you added anything new to your beauty bag this fall?

  4. I used to love wearing a red that had a bit of orange in it. But as I'm getting older,(I'm way older than Abby if anyone's reading), I'm all about softer colored glosses. (I'll admit my addiction/splurge is on Chanel ones because they have a shimmer.) I remember when I was in my twenties, I would hassle my mother about wearing more vibrant lipsticks, and she would say that when you get older, if you soften your colors, you look younger. I'm now my mother! Don't you hate when that happens? And she was totally right. I miss my 30-something reds. You go girl, I bet it looks amazing with light skin and blond hair. A bit Marilyn, perhaps? I'll live vicariously. :)

  9. With havin so much written content do you ever run into
    any issues of plagorism

or copyright violation? My website has a lot of unique content

I've either authored myself or outsourced but it seems a lot of it is popping it up

all over the web without my agreement. Do you know any ways to help stop content from being ripped off? I'd
    genuinely appreciate it.
