local clients: design boards to bedrooms

One of my local clients has been making some major progress on their house this week.  I thought I would share the updates. These rooms are not finished, but they are off to a great start!

This was the design board we started with, but since then I switched one of the pillows and we went with a different light for the ceiling.

Here is how the room looked when I saw it for the first time.  They wanted to keep her crib as a bed and her furniture.

The new light, crown molding, and art still need to be installed.  The drapes also need to be moved out a bit.

I love the pink ceiling and the detail on the drapes.

This sweet girl loves her new room.  It has been so fun to put together.

Here is the design for her brother's room.

And how it looked the day I visited.  Again, they wanted to keep his crib as his bed.

He's a huge fan of his new dinosaur sheets. :-)

The art is not up yet, but the room is looking great!  Thanks to Sarah for working with me!

I know I don't say it often enough, but I really appreciate you reading my blog.  Ya'll are the best!

  3. Both rooms are so cute. Love the bright colors in the girl's room and those sweet curtains. I bet the boy does love his dinosaur sheets and striped wall treatment.

  4. I am speechless! Seeing design boards come to life is my favorite thing about your blog. I was a critic about the design being grown up for a little boy but it is SOOOOO perfect!
