they had just bought their new home and she needed help with their living room.
Here is the picture she sent me, once they moved their furniture into the home.
--She wanted to keep all of her furniture, but I was able to convince her that her current sofa would not work while still staying in her budget.
--She wanted to keep her green curtains, wing back chairs, pillows on the wing backs, and coffee table.
--I'm really proud of Danielle for trusting me to make such big changes when it's not always easy.
Here are her bookshelves. I recommended to add grasscloth to the backs of all the shelves. I'm SO glad she went for it!
Danielle has done a great job of pulling everything together!
HUGE thanks to Danielle for sending me these pictures of her home!

Oh Abby! The room looks outstanding! Love the grasscloth on the bookshelf backs. The new sofa makes all the difference. She did a great job of merchandising the bookshelves under your direction. Awesome!
ReplyDeleteAbby! I can't get over what you can do long distance. A.Mazing! You totally updated everything she had, and it looks gorgeous. It says an awful lot that someone would trust you long distance to replace the sofa like that. Kudos. And, the grasscloth? Killer!
ReplyDeleteAmazing... the new sofa refreshes everything 100%! Love how the pillows on the sofa tie in all of the colours, and the bookcases look stunning with the grasscloth!
ReplyDeletereally lovely! isn't it so fun to see the fruits of your labor?
ReplyDeleteI can't get over how much brighter the room looks! The new couch was a great suggestion and the pillows really pull everything together. The grasscloth looks so gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteAmazing! I love that she trusted you on the sofa... it was JUST what the room needed!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Abby for posting my updated space. We truly love every aspect of it and sometimes I find myself sitting on the couch, just taking it all in. Like someone else said, it's amazing what you can do long-distance!
ReplyDeleteI have always loved the "curtains a little above the window look", but in this case even more so. It really draws your eye to the window and how much light is coming in and how large the window now looks.
ReplyDeleteDang it girl...she trusted you and she wins!!! That room looks so nice and fresh!
ReplyDeleteThis room looks beautiful! Lovely job - you gave your client GREAT recommendations :)
ReplyDeleteI love it! Would you mind sharing details about the rug -- something I think I need for my living room.
ReplyDeleteAbby, this space is absolutely gorgeous! Everything you do is though... You have inspired me more than anyone else! I am incorporating lots of green and blue in our house thanks to you! And our front door is getting ready to go from MS Lagoon to BM Seaweed!
ReplyDeleteThe room looks beautiful! I love the new sofa and the colors in the room - very cheerful. And those bookshelves look amazing - great job!
