red cabinetry for boys

Can you tell what's on my mind?

But before we get into that, let me say THANK YOU for all of your comments on yesterday's post.  I can't wait to show it to my client and encourage her that she did, in fact, make the right decision.
Y'all are the best!!

Yes, I'm considering painting the vanity in the boys' bathroom red.
Well, technically either Saffron or Chili Pepper.  Not sure.  This is another room that I have not touched since we moved in.

I'm between these two colors:

I"m leaning toward the Chili Pepper.  It's strange how my mind works.  Because I was totally unmotivated to do anything to our boys' bathroom.  But then, my oldest son and I found these darling prints on Etsy and
 I was inspired.

BAM. Once inspiration hits, then watch out.  Because then I have all the motivation I need to get busy.
I considered navy cabinets, but I don't want our whole house to be a version of blue.  Mamma needs some contrast 'round here! :-)

  6. Oh I say go for it and I love the Chili Pepper. I think a bathroom is a great place to do something a little unexpected. I just gave mine striped walls yesterday (posted about it today). Why not right?

    2. Those prints are the absolute cutest. And I'm pretty sure I read this right, but I love that your son picked it out on Etsy himself. Puffy heart him for that!

  8. So, so adorable, those prints!!! Absolutely perfect jumping off point, as always, girl! I totally say go for it with the red, those are both a little more muted than say, fire engine red (c: ha! I was just going to say muted, but then I realized how ridiculous "red" and "muted" sound in the same sentence...(c:
