green front door: The Cottage Project

My "cottage project" client and I agreed on a color for her front door.
Seaweed 2035-10 by Benjamin Moore.
I could die for this color...

When the sample was in the can she was skeptical.  But I painted a large sample on some paper and once we taped it on the door she was sold.  Don't be fooled by wet paint.  It always dries differently.
Here are more green doors I love.

The walls are starting to be painted this week. When her master bathroom walls were finished she called me in tears because it was so beautiful.  That's the best type of call. :-)  After years of moving slowly her dream home is finally becoming a reality!  I'll be sharing progress as soon as I can.

  12. I love this. David and I were just discussing a new paint job for the cottage front door. The blue needs to go. He wanted black. I was voting for a shade of green which he wasn't excited about. You may be our deciding vote. ;)
