3 books worthy of your coffee table

Beautiful books are an important element to any coffee table.  But I'm not a fan of adding extra clutter unless it's also useful.  A book needs to not only be beautiful on the outside, but should make you actually enjoy curling up on the sofa for a read.

I've recently been on the hunt for fabulous books for our newly painted coffee table.  I can tell you, with absolute certainty, that each of these is worthy of your investment.  They have beautiful covers, amazing content, and even your guests will want to pick them up and flip through the pages.  I'm not getting any kickback for mentioning these-- I just like to share my favorite things.  Just click on the picture to learn more about the book.

Do you have a favorite coffee table book? Do tell.

  1. These all look great - I've flipped through them many times at the bookstore but haven't splurged on them yet. I still love Domino and Decorate :)

  4. I've always wanted the first book. Maybe it's time to actually buy it! I'll have to go look at other two, they look like great books as well.

  5. Abby, do you have the Southern Living Style book? I really love that one and Decorate (and Domino too). Deborah's book is on my wish list. A friend of mine actually collects books that have illustrations rather than photos which I thought was fun.

  6. I love "A Homemade Life"! Unfortunately I read it on my Kindle, so I can't exactly put it on my coffee table:)

  7. I have our wedding album in hardback on our coffee table and the books The Dangerous Book for Boys and The Daring Book for Girls on the mantle. I'd like to move them around a bit, but they are definitely eye catchers.

  12. My fave coffee table book is Traveling on High Frequency, the photography of Jay Blakesburg. It is a collection of photos. He was one of the best rock photographers... there is something for everyone in that book.
