blush pink dining room: design board

One advantage of a new start is the opportunity to create a home that makes you feel special.  Nothing says special like this pale, blush pink dining room for Julie and her family.  It's just begging for a dinner party filled with lively conversation and fabulous food!

They are being gifted a vintage, round table and chairs that we are hoping to paint flat white and high gloss canary yellow.  The rug and chair cushions are a nice masculine juxtaposition to the feminine pieces in the room.  To see before pictures of the room, click here.  Enjoy!

  2. Love this design -- especially the yellow chairs and the artwork. And I always love pedestal tables.

  5. Oh this is FUN! I love that your client is not afraid of color. I think this combination is going to be so pretty in their dining room. I'm really starting to get more on board with the blush pink. I've never been a big pink person, but I may be a convert soon.

  6. We painted my daughters' room a pale, pale pink and put a brown and cream bold striped rug in there, and some yellow/chartreuse accents! So clearly I LOVE this combo. It will be fun to see the finished product!
