under construction

Well hello!  There is a bit of work going on at our house this week.  Can you tell?

Here is a similar view taken by the Realtor for the listing.  (previous home owners)
Goodbye puke green walls.
My husband sent me this photo last night of our dining room.  It's a view from the entry.

Because the old owners removed the wallpaper but never sanded the walls before they painted, the walls were in terrible shape.  A little skim coating, primer, and paint should do the trick.
Here is a picture from before we moved in via the listing.

My inspiration for the new wall color?

All that being said, I'm at my dad's house on Lake Huron with the kids this week.  My hubby stayed home because someone has to pay the bills around here! ;-)
This is our morning view...
You may not hear too much from me this week.

  7. I don't have an exact color match to this picture, but I am using Calypso blue from Benjamin Moore. It will either look really great or really horrible! Abby
