Some people start with a rug.
I begin with fabric.
This beautiful combination is for a girl's room in the T.House.
I think it's sweet and sophisticated all at once.
Now to add the rest of the layers!

Love it! I adore florals, so you know, I'm particularly loving the floral fabric and I love what you've paired it with! It's pretty without being too girly, if you know what I mean? haha It'll look lovely!!
ReplyDeleteIt's very feminine without being juvenile, and I love that it skews to the cool side of pink. A lovely place to start!
ReplyDeleteThanks ladies! Does it look pink? I thought it was more purple. Hmm...
ReplyDeleteIt looks purple to me and super sweet!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you-I often start with fabric! Love this combination, especially the bold floral.
ReplyDeleteI think this is perfect for a girls room. I love the floral and striped. So cute!
ReplyDeleteThat is great fabric, what a perfect start to that room!!! I'm in the "it's more purple than pink camp"....
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabrics! The room will be gorgeous! What a great way to start- the room will look so pulled together when you start with the fabrics! How fun. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the pallet! The "T's" are lucky to have you :) Hope all is well getting ready for the move.
ReplyDeleteIt's so fun to read your comments! The large floral would be the main event. I can't get enough of it.
ReplyDeleteThe reason I was able to start with fabric (after the floor plan) is because we are really starting from scratch. No furniture, and no wall color to work around.
Abby...I love those fabrics...they are different and fresh...but not matchy matchy!
ReplyDeletelovely beginning..cant wait to see this unfold. and love your blog design. great colors.
ReplyDeleteI agree...fabric can be the best source of inspiration~!
ReplyDeleteit's totally purple and I love it.
ReplyDeleteI just did a family room with purple accents included. It is very hot at the moment! M.
ReplyDeleteWould you share your sources? I'm looking for a sweet smaller scale purple just like your polka-dot-ish one. I LOVE that!
