if I was coming to your house...

I would arrive carrying a tray that looked something like this and we would have so much fun!
Can you tell I'm working on bedrooms for two little girls?

Remember my whole house client?
From now on let's just refer to that as "the T. house".  I'm sure you'll be hearing a lot about the house as I have their permission to blog about it.
Yesterday we finally had time to sit down together to answer a few of my questions and
decipher their style.

We went through all the fabrics to see what she liked and disliked;
she answered questions and looked at some photos.
I feel confident that I have a great idea of her style in order to move forward.
The T. family has a very tailored-clean colored-traditional style with a fresh take.  You will not be seeing any vintage or glam materials!  Not their look.

I had pulled together a few ensembles to see what she thought.  My thoughts were classic, preppy, sweet, and not too young.  The girls are two and four, but they won't stay little forever.  I really want them to get a good 10 years out their rooms.

Option #1:
Liked.

Option #2
Liked.

Option #3:
Eh---Not so sure.
But the daughter picked the purple fabric as her favorite. :-)

Option #4:
Dislike.
She did not like this ikat or geometric fabrics at all.

Which option would you choose?

  20. Loving the second one--but I have a thing for plaid in kids rooms and right now I'm all over green, so it's a no brainer! Also loving the hit of black in the first grouping.

    So fun!
