I'm stuck.

In a catch 22.
I blog because:
-I love it
-love connecting with you and making friendships
-to develop clients
-as a creative outlet

But this current season of life has gotten a bit exhausting--in all the best ways.

My youngest is going on his second week of being sick, my oldest starts his new school, I'm packing, and very busy with clients. Oh yes, and I have a hubby that would like some attention.
I am so thankful that I have family, a new house in the future, and work that I love.
But for now, at least for April, if something is going to give it has to be
my daily posts.
I'm not bailing on the blog by any means, just warning you that it may not be a daily read.
If we usually chat back and forth I'm sorry I've been missing.

I'm still finding balance.
And I'm so thankful for the challenge.
I hope you stick around.
{There's an amazing kitchen before and after coming up!}
All the images in today's post have a little something that I wanted to save to use for the new house.
Isn't that ceiling in the last one fantastic?
xo,
You will always have me my dear....and just like you, I will always be waiting for your posts -- here and there. :)
ReplyDeleteCheers~

I'll be here! Balance is hard to find - you've got a lot on your plate right now. I rarely post more than 3 to 4 times a week because it's all I can handle with the kids, the house, and my Willow House business. Hope your little one starts to feel better soon and good luck with your move!
ReplyDeleteThanks ladies. I know I'm not the first blogger to pull back and my story isn't unique--but I still wory that I'll lose business an readers. I appreciate your words! Abby
ReplyDeleteAbby! I'm sure the majoroity of us completely understand; I know I do.
ReplyDeleteGood Luck with your move, and I hope your son gets better!

Oh Abby I am sure you have noticed I do not post every day, I just cannot. I try to visit so many blogs I love & to make relationships.
ReplyDeleteI try to post when it is something exciting and important for readers!
I admire so many that do blog often! Just be careful not to burn out or to lose what is important!

ReplyDeleteTotally understandable. I'm crazy swamped at work and am finding it hard to post everyday. I don't even have a family like you do!
ReplyDeleteAbby, good for you! You recognize that something needs to give and you're making a choice. It is probably the right one, and if it's not you'll have more information as you plan your next step. For now, it's so great to focus on you, your family, and your clients. The blog community will support you.

Take all the time you need, and I'll definitely check back when you return! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI am sure I can speak for most of us in saying that we all understand! Life can get pretty hectic and you don't need to feel any additional pressure. I will always check in on your blog and look forward to reading any posts that you write. I only blog a few times a week and try not to let it become a chore. After all, this is supposed to be enjoyable! Take care and best of luck getting all your things done!
ReplyDeletei hear ya, abby. my blog posting has been put on the back burner also. i spent my last two weekends printing calling cards and decluttering and staging our house for our listing, which just went up today! so... no worries. pam

ReplyDeleteOh, moving is crazy...and I hope the boys are feeling better. I had a cut back some, too. So glad you are busy, though :) Julie
ReplyDeleteI totally understand! I think it's really easy to feel pressured to have a post everyday and that's not always gonna happen. I've been cutting myself some slack lately too since I'm working a couple days a week now. We're not going anywhere though, so don't worry!!
ReplyDeleteOh Abby...you said it...I used to be able to answer every sweet comment...that is impossible now! We will be here....just hang in there!
ReplyDeleteI have nothing but love and respect for that decision! I face the same dilemma and still haven't been able to strike exactly the right balance! I still love your bloggy and will be here for whatever you can give it! (c: The people you love the most are *definitely* not your blog followers!
ReplyDeleteright there with you, abby! I'll be here, reading any post you write, whenever you write it!
ReplyDeleteI was in exactly the same spot. It doesn't seem like it would be, but the pressure of a daily post can be really taxing.
