Overstock vs. Potterybarn

A client sent me this chandelier from Potterybarn and asked if I could find something similar for less.  Her kitchen reno finally begins on Monday and I can't wait for you to see the results!  Obviously we have not landed on a chandelier yet.

I recently developed a little crush on Overstock and immediately went to see what I could find.
Of course I did not find one that fit the bill with the upward facing glass hurricanes.
Do you know of one?

But I did find a few amazing deals.
 Let's check them out!
A few are identical and others just give the same feel.
Either way I think you'll like the savings.
$329.00 via Potterybarn

$194.00 via Overstock

$399.00 via Potterybarn

$103.99 via Overstock

$269.00 via Potterybarn

$139 via Overstock

$269 via Potterybarn

$166 via Overstock

$349 via Potterybarn

$210 via Overstock

$199 via Potterybarn

$133 via Overstock

Did you notice that each one is black?  This was not done on purpose by me--just what happened!
Let's add a little sparkle and gold. ;-)  There is no PB look alike, I just love the fixture.  Can't you see it in a dressing room or powder room?
$99 via Overstock

See anything you like?  I was shocked how identical some of them were while costing 100's of dollars less!  That's just crazy.  I was never an Overstock junkie before but I think I could be convinced!

  1. Abby,
Have you looked at the blogs, "Copy Cat Chic" and "You Paid More than Me"? They might be able to help you find what you are looking for! By the way, I love your choices though...especially the lanterns! Have a great weekend!

  4. Abby,
I'm back again...Have you checked www.faucetdirect.com? They have one with the hurricanes that looks kind of like the Pottery Barn one. It is $164.52, it is from Progress Lighting - the # is P4016. Check it out!

  7. Lighting is the only thing that I have purchased from overstock so far. I have that $133 chande and it's so much nicer than the pic shows, I love it!

  15. Thanks for sharing your post. Truly, there is something of slightly the same design but less on the budget. And you cannot see the difference. Love your post. Thanks again...
