Casamidy **guest post from 10 rooms**

Today I am excited to share a post from one of my favorite bloggers!  10 Rooms was one of the very first design blogs I read. I would check in every day to see what unique and creative post Anne-Marie had published.  She is so inspiring!  It took me months before I left my first comment (which is so silly) and now I feel like we are kindred spirits.

Hi everyone, I'm Anne-Marie over from 10 Rooms.  Since Abby and her family have jetted off to sunnier climes, I am delighted to be doing a guest post for her today.

When Abby mentioned she was off to Mexico, I was off daydreaming about bare feet and silver shopping heaven...which eventually led to thoughts of designer Kishani Perera's sultry boudoir, featured in House Beautiful.
Have you seen this?

Isn't that the sauciest space?

Charcoal walls,  GORGEOUS diffused light, tiny side tables, blackout curtains and THAT headboard
-this is not a room for reading and catching the news :)

Kishani had her golden headboard gilded, it originally looked like this...

Casamidy is a Mexican design company founded by Jorge Almada and Anne-Marie Midy, where creative thinking and traditional methods meet in fascinating places.

Their furniture lines are creative and inspired...

as are their spaces...

Visit their site, you can almost feel the sun.. in fact, I'm heading back there now :)

Hope you are having a wonderful vacation, Abby, and thanks for asking me to guest post on your delightful blog - you are too sweet!

  4. That red mirror is fun! I feel like shaped mirrors are all in similar shapes these days - so that was a nice change of pace, very unique.
